Holiday Cheer Around Castle Rock!

From Parker’s equestrian Christmas event, the Carriage Parade, to a variety of festive concerts and shows, there’s no shortage of holiday cheer in the area! Grammy-award winning jazz artist Diane Reeves presents her preeminent Christmas concert with her unique take on classic holiday hits, and the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra presents a sing-along family-friendly concert.

JIM BRICKMAN’S JOYFUL CHRISTMAS
This classic Christmas special with Grammy-nominated songwriter and pianist Jim Brickman delivers the nostalgia of traditional holidays past while infusing the present with new life.Brickman’s 22nd annual holiday tour brings original songs, along with the traditional sounds and stories of the season. He’ll perform his favorites as well as exciting new sounds in a concert experience like a Christmas card come to life. With featured musical guests, Brickman performs his most beloved hits including The Gift, Angel Eyes, and Sending You a Little Christmas.

RUN, RUN RUDOLPH!
Here’s a fun activity for the kids to do while you are crossing items off your Christmas list! The Run, Run Rudolph scavenger hunt is a self-guided tour around the Outlets at Castle Rock to find all of Santa’s reindeer—including Rudolph—that will be on display throughout the holiday season. Just go to Customer Service to get a map and reindeer stickers and then, after going on the hunt, return with the stickers placed over each correct location to receive a special treat from Cinnabon!

When Buddy the Elf discovers he isn’t a real elf, but a human raised by elves, he sets out on a journey to New York City to discover his birth family. With the blessings of Santa and his adopted elf family, Buddy seeks to discover why he was always such a big misfit in the elf world. In the process of finding himself, he also teaches the faithless humans about the true meaning of Christmas.

In search of a good old-fashioned holiday celebration? Highlands Ranch invites you to Hometown Holiday, where friends and neighbors share the spirit of the season! The festive evening includes the annual Tree Lighting ceremony, this year on the first permanent Christmas tree in Town Center! 

Admission is FREE to this hometown celebration, which offers a winter wonderland of fun-filled festivities including caroling, entertainment, food, and even a visit by Santa himself! COMEDIAN RYAN HAMILTON
Take a break from all the holiday-themed entertainment, and share a laugh with a wholesome comedian from Idaho! Ryan Hamilton is an All-American stand-up comedian who uses observational, sarcastic, and self-deprecating humor. He is known as a clean comedian and his material focuses on his own experiences, including his single life, skydiving, hot air balloons, and his huge smile. 

Hamilton’s first stand-up special, Happy Face, recently appeared on Netflix, following many television appearances, including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Conan. Armed with the unique perspective of growing up in rural Idaho to become a favorite in the New York stand-up comedy scene, he’s a one-of-a-kind comedian.

VISIT SANTA’S VILLAGE
Treat the kids to a visit to Santa’s village, complete with his workshop and reindeer! MATILDA THE MUSICAL

Matilda The Musical is inspired by the little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence, and psychokinetic powers. CHRISTMAS CARRIAGE PARADE
For a special old-fashioned Christmas, you can’t beat a horse-drawn carriage parade! The town of Parker invites you to experience the Christmas Carriage Parade, an annual downtown Parker tradition. That holiday feeling is in the air with this all-equestrian parade, made up of dozens of horse-drawn carriages, wagons, surreys and stagecoaches from across Colorado, all dressed up for the occasion.

You can also enjoy a holiday farmer’s market, a petting zoo, pony rides, ice sculpting, and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Santa himself will wrap up the event with a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas!
