POSTED August 1, 2019

Bring the family to a multitude of exciting events at the fairgrounds, including rodeos, live entertainment, a carnival for the kids, and much, much more! There’s something for everyone at the fair! Other outdoor concerts are also in full-swing all around the Castle Rock area, along with outdoor movies and theatre performances, so get out there and enjoy summer at its peak!

TODAY through August 15

If you’re tired of pampering your lawn more than you pamper yourself, maybe you’re in need of a water-wise lawn makeover! Castle Rock Water is giving away an $8,000 front yard landscape makeover this summer! If you want to include less turf and more water-wise plants into your landscape, enter this contest!

The winner will receive a personalized ColoradoScape—a team of experts will transform your water-thirsty yard into a vibrant, colorful and seasonal landscape that is more conducive to our Castle Rock environment. To enter, post a 15- to 30-second video about “why your yard sucks” on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, using the tag @CRgov.

The stage production of The Full Monty is based on the movie by the same name. When six unemployed steel workers decide to make some extra cash by becoming strippers after they witness their wives’ enthusiasm over a group of Chippendales’ dancers, the result is outrageous hilarity! These middle-aged, out-of-shape men respond to their dreary circumstances with a whole lot of heart and so much optimism that you’ll be rooting for them the whole time!

This hilarious production has adult themes with strong language and situations that might be found in an R-rated film.
