WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW
Named one of the Greatest 100 songwriters of all time by Rolling Stone, Burt Bacharach captured the essence of an entire generation with a non-stop parade of hit songs in the 60s and 70s. While he may be best known for classics like Raindrops Are Fallin’ on My Head, This Guy’s in Love With You, Close to You, and What the World Needs Now (Is Love Sweet Love), he continued to write smash hits for movies and pop artists well into the 80s, including the theme from Arthur (Best That You Can Do) and That’s What Friends Are For.

With such a legendary repertoire, a tribute concert to this great artist needs to include two great voices—and two regional talented performers fill that bill! Leonard Barrett Jr. and Rekha Ohal take on The Best Of Bacharach LIVE with a stellar musical and theatrical show! Set in the magnificent Cherokee Castle, the evening includes a tour of the castle and light appetizers prior to the show’s 7:30 start time. Don’t miss this special evening of musical magic!
