You’ve got your pick of things to do in the Crystal Valley area this weekend! From fun webinars, including an online circus, you can expand your world without even leaving home. ICELAND WEBINAR

LEGO SUPERPOWERS
Kids ages 5 to 10 will have fun experimenting with the forces of nature in this hands-on educational program! They’ll explore the worlds of their favorite superheroes and learn all about force, energy, and problem-solving. Using LEGO blocks, they’ll build models inspired by Superman, Batgirl, and other superheroes!

JAPANESE CUISINE COOKING CLASS
Japanese cuisine is so much more than sushi! Learn how to make restaurant-quality Japanese food at home! When you reserve this cooking class, you’ll receive an ingredient kit portioned for the number of attendees, a recipe pack, information on equipment you’ll need, and access to the live Zoom session.

Pork, rice, and potatoes are all staples of the Japanese cuisine, but you’ll learn how to turn these into edible delights! The menu includes: Pork Gyoza, Black Garlic Fried Rice and Chicken Katsu, Ube (purple sweet potato), and Ice Cream with Sesame Caramel.

MAGIC SHOW ONLINE
Fun for the whole family! Gather everyone together and tune in to this LIVE virtual Magic Show with popular magician and mentalist Gary Ferrar, who will be bringing new tricks and stunts to this private online show. 

Ferrar has appeared on NBC, USA, and the Travel Channel with his mind-blowing maneuvers. He’ll be asking for audience participation, so turn your video camera on and get ready to be a part of the show!

A DAY IN THE COUNTRY
Chatfield Farms is Denver Botanic Gardens’ 700-acre native plant refuge and working farm—and it’s right in the neighborhood! From now through the end of January, admission to this day in the country is FREE, but you need to reserve a time and date specific ticket in advance.

AN OLD-FASHIONED PASTIME
Just like the winter scenes from long ago, you can gather your friends and family for a good old-fashioned ice skating party! Head over to the Rink at the Rock, where they’ll be playing festive music as you glide around the ice. If you need to rent skates, they’ve got them!

VIRTUAL CIRCUS OMNIUM
This is not your everyday circus! The word omnium means “of all and belonging to all”—and that’s exactly what this innovative online circus is about! This entertaining multi-sensory circus delivers diversity, equity, and inclusion, for both the audience and the performers. 

Circus Omnium has numerous multi-abled international performers who will delight you, not because of they perform despite their disabilities but because of their extraordinary talents. There has never been a circus like this and there has never been a time when we needed the circus more to unite our hearts.

YOGA ON THE FARM
Take a step outside your daily routine! This hour of Yin Yoga will take you to a new place physically and spiritually, and since you’ll be doing your practice out on a farm, you’ll get to hang out with horses, too! Wine, snacks, and water will be provided, and COVID guidelines will be in place.

HOLIDAY TEA GOES ON AND ON

FUN ON A HILL
How much fun can you have on a snowy hill in the winter? A whole bunch! Breckenridge Brewery has created a winter wonderland next to their outdoor Farm House Beer Garden, so you can relax and enjoy tasting craft beers, have some delicious food, and then try out the tubing hill. You get five free tickets to get you started!
