PHIL WICKHAM AND JOSH BALDWIN
Born into a musical family, Phil’s earliest years were spent surrounded by Christian music. With his parents encouraging him, he learned all of the popular worship songs and then started writing his own. That led to him leading worship for his youth group when he was 13.

At 18, Phil recorded an independent project and it started attracting the attention of the record labels. Since his self-titled debut in 2006, Phil Wickham has emerged as a leader in the modern worship movement, penning countless songs sung in churches around the world. His RIAA Gold®-certified single, “This Is Amazing Grace,” was his first career No. 1, holding the top spot for 13 consecutive weeks and named Billboard’s No. 1 “Christian Airplay Song of the Year” in 2014. His anthemic “Living Hope,” earned Phil a GMA Dove Award for “Worship Recorded Song of the Year” in 2019.

His latest project, Hymn of Heaven was written during a year when the family of God couldn’t physically gather in houses of worship around the world. It is full of praise and thankfulness so “people can encounter the presence of God.” In May 2017 opening act Josh Baldwin, released his debut solo album with Bethel Music titled The War is Over, and his song “Praises” is featured on Bethel Music’s album Have it All (2016). Both “Praises” and “You Deserve It All” (from his solo project Rivers), have become popular worship anthems among churches around the world.

BY THE WAY, MEET VERA STARK
A provocative comedy from Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage (Sweat and Intimate Apparel) draws on the screwball films of the 1930s to take a funny and irreverent look at racial stereotypes in Hollywood. By the Way, Meet Vera Stark is a 70-year journey through the life of Vera Stark, a clever Black maid and budding actress, and her tangled relationship with her boss, a white Hollywood star desperately trying to hold on to her career. When circumstances collide and both women land roles in the same Southern epic, the story behind the cameras leaves Vera with a surprising and controversial legacy scholars will debate for years to come.

“A satisfying screwball comedy in which Nottage uses stereotypes to expose them, tapping into a current of rueful emotion beneath the surface.” —Vogue
